You have to see it to believe it! The DSP I created looks fantastic, almost like suede. I added a few score lines to the blue bottom part, cut out two flowers and punched out some leaves using the Blossom Petal punch and stamp. This Reason to Smile stamp set if very versatile and easy to add color to. The sketch from PPA and ColourQ gave me the inspiration for this card. Enjoy!

Summer Silhouettes/Birthday
A dynamic duo it is being able to combine The Paper Players and Dynamic Duos Challenges. I wanted to use my new stamp set Summer Silhouettes and both the colors and sketch seemed to go well together. I stamped the polka dots creating my own DSP, embossed the flowers/leaves and used a scrunched cling wrap dipped in shimmer paint to add some texture and shine to the flower panel. A round sentiment with a shiny brad and a butterfly finished the card. Enjoy!

A flower for you!
This was a stamp set that did not get my attention until I saw the card that Cindy Hall made. My friend happened to have it and since she is at the SU convention, I get to keep it and use it until she gets back. :)
The was able to use it for the first time on the sketch from Freshly Made. Giving a single flower in a vase to me is like saying "you are a special one" so I chose to use the leaves and the vase from two different stamps and created my own stamp. I wasn't liking the plain background so I stamped the vase with the same ink color as the CS. Enjoy!

All About the Sentiment
The Paper Players challenge this week is all about the sentiment, an important complement to a card and sometimes like in this case, the focal point. This retired DSP from SU has very pretty colors/patterns and since I didn't want to stamp the sentiment in black, it was a good choice. I wanted to soften the white background of the sentiment so I stamped the outline of a leaf in Old Olive and the sentiment in Rich Razzleberry. Enjoy!

Birthday Card
This birthday card is totally inspired by Linda. When I saw her card I knew I would make one sooner or later but never thought it would be so soon. When I saw the colors from ColourQ, immediately I thought of Linda's card. I cut an hexagon shape and using the negative, I stamped the background. Used markers to color the flower and stamped a second one on Vellum for the butterfly. I distressed the edges and the paper to make it look a little old. Enjoy!
