Any Occasion

I have a hard time with color challenges, never know how to use the colors, but when I saw the challenge from Color Throwdown I immediately had an idea. I use the sketch from July Sketch For You to Try and played with threads which is something I wanted to do.  Enjoy!

Beachy Birthday

One card for three challenges, The Paper Players (beach), Seize the Birthday (stars/stripes), and Seize the Sketch (sketch) :)  I love this tag, the embossing folder, the cloud punch and the polka dots ribbon.  Enjoy!

Money Envelope/Card

In need of a money envelope/card for a birthday girl.  I used the sketch from Freshly Made and realized the challenge was closed.  Originally I was going to submit it there and Seize the Birthday, too late.  I scored the top part to create texture and used the colors from the ribbon to create the water color paper.  Enjoy!

Sketch Saturday Challenge

Wanda created a very cute and colorful card and it led me to Sketch Saturday Challenge #124. The idea was to show the new SU ink colors at a workshop. The flower I chose didn't show well, it needs a more solid image, I'll change it for the class.  Enjoy!

Any Occasion

Mojo Monday got my attention this week. I remembered a paper I have from SU that mimic a water color stamp I had borrowed from my friend Lili.  I first stamped the the background and over it stamped the flower.  I punchedt off the flower and attached it back with a glue dot.  I like the shadow effect the black gave the flower.  Enjoy!
