A Little Music

I was inspired by the use of DP and the stenciling over it.  I tried to do it but it didn't work the first time and time was not on my side.  Instead I used some leaves and created the pink flower.  The sketch has a lot of possibilities and music always fits in.  Enjoy!

For Mother's Day

This sketch immediately inspired me to use the many washi tapes I have and haven't used.  I picked 4 washi tapes, cut the cards and let my imagination flow to finish the sketch.  I like them all, working on the fourth onethey will be perfect for mother's day cards.  Enjoy!

Happy Easter

I bought this cross recently from Taylored Expressions and was looking forward to using it for Easter, but it is a bit bigger than I thought it would be.  Still very pretty and I'm sure I'll end up liking it more.  I decided on blue tones and white because of the sky paper.  The embossing is perfect for this card.  Enjoy!

Sketch, Colors and Style

Sketch with a twist... I raised the two panels that framed the card area leaving an open area between the two to create the horizontal line.  Love tags! and the craft color, swirls and a touch of blue are perfect for the papers I picked.  The body form added even more of STYLE to this card.  Enjoy!

Happy Easter

I'm enjoying making Easter cards, not about bunnies and eggs, but about the Resurrection of Christ.  The  sun and flowers in yellow complimented the light gray.  The cross was stamped and fussy cut and a small stone was placed in the center.  Enjoy!
