It's the season to be joyful and thankful for family, friends and for eternal life that Jesus gave to us. Easy to forget the meaning of Christmas with all the running around, but we must stop and remember that a precious child was born and gave His life for us. To all my blog friends: I wish you a very Merry Christmas and best wishes for 2015. I specially want to thank my daughter Tania who taught me patiently how to blog, she is so special to me. Enjoy!!

It's all about Jesus!
The sketch from Fusion challenge gave me the inspiration for this card, but unfortunately I ran out of time to post. The Paper Players has a fun challenge this week Tic-Tac-Toe and I chose star, embossing and white. After attaching the red border I realized I had not dry embossed the white cover. Heat embossing with clear was the solution and also added a star to the flower. Enjoy!

Another Thanksgiving Card
I am enjoying making Thanksgiving card this year! This sketch is similar to the last card but I liked it enough to create another card. I heat embossed the leaves and added a small bow to add some bling-bling to the card. Enjoy! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Autumn Birthday
A friend is celebrating her birthday today and this card was created for the occasion. An autumn birthday card seemed appropriate since she likes those colors. I love the leaves, wish they had a die :( I had to fussy cut them. Enjoy! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!

Grateful for You!
This is an ideal sketch for my workshop. I used an old piece of paper I had with Autumn colors and stamped the leaves on the Crushed Curry paper. My friend Antonieta suggested the "falling leaves" and I like how it looks. Enjoy!

Ornamantal Pine
Loved this stamp set from the moment I saw it, the pine branch, pine cone and sentiment are all beautiful. I used Gumball Green and Real Red, and for the background Versamark with clear embossing powder. The sketch was perfect for my card. Enjoy!

Birthday Balloons
The idea was to create a cluster of balloons but I think I cut them too big and they don't look right to me. I don't have a lot of time left to post so I'll re-do the balloons later and post it for you to see. Enjoy!

PS: Not a very good picture, colors are brighter.

Birthday Card
I came across a new challenge today while blog hopping...Word Art Wednesday, and this week the challenge is anything goes, same as Seize the Birthday. The sketch from Sweet Sunday is really cute. Originally I had a white card in mind with a hint of color but the bright colors in Bhavana's card changed my inspiration. I will make the white card but for now this is what I created. Enjoy!

Very Special Someone
These are not the original colors I had in mind for Freshly Made Sketches challenge but I came across Color Throwdown and decided to challenge myself with the colors. I didn't know where to put the grey, so I used it in creating the card base. The card has a lot of dimension although you can't tell in the picture and a big birthday wish for Lesley over at Seize the Birthday! Enjoy!

Any Occasion
I have a hard time with color challenges, never know how to use the colors, but when I saw the challenge from Color Throwdown I immediately had an idea. I use the sketch from July Sketch For You to Try and played with threads which is something I wanted to do. Enjoy!

Money Envelope/Card
In need of a money envelope/card for a birthday girl. I used the sketch from Freshly Made and realized the challenge was closed. Originally I was going to submit it there and Seize the Birthday, too late. I scored the top part to create texture and used the colors from the ribbon to create the water color paper. Enjoy!

Sketch Saturday Challenge
Wanda created a very cute and colorful card and it led me to Sketch Saturday Challenge #124. The idea was to show the new SU ink colors at a workshop. The flower I chose didn't show well, it needs a more solid image, I'll change it for the class. Enjoy!

Any Occasion
Mojo Monday got my attention this week. I remembered a paper I have from SU that mimic a water color stamp I had borrowed from my friend Lili. I first stamped the the background and over it stamped the flower. I punchedt off the flower and attached it back with a glue dot. I like the shadow effect the black gave the flower. Enjoy!

Birthday Card
I was totally inspired by the card Jackie Pedro created, she is so talented and I love her style. I used a border and wood stamp from SU that I really like. The red and kraft made a good color combo. Enjoy!
