Birthday Card

First I put together the idea of using the chalkboard technique from the Paper Players together with the sketch from the Sweet Sunday.  Looking for a color combo I decided to check ColorQ and that is how I created this card.  I have a hard time playing with color challenges, I can never know where to put the colors, so after I finished the card it looked too serious and I needed a happier card.  I changed the scallop circle to  red and I think it looks better.  Which one do you like?  I also made a gift bag to sort of match the card.  Any suggestions on how to coordinate colors?  Enjoy!

  2. Great job combining challenges and creating projects with the chalkboard technique! Both cards are fabulous, but I must say I like the one with pop of red a bit better, especially with the fun red tissue paper. Thanks so much for playing along with us this week at The Paper Players, Gisela!
